The Harlequins Foundation
Jerold, past pupil at St Edmund’s, is taking the Harlequins by storm and we are all incredibly proud of him. He plays ‘hooker’ with the Harlequins Men’s Senior Academy.
Some of the rugby fans amongst you may well have already seen him in action! He is incredibly grateful for the support he has received to date and wants to give back to the community he was fortunate to visit this past year.
Jerold is coming in to school on Monday for our whole school assembly to share information about the community he visited in Malawi who need our support. The aim is to empower the young people in that community with essential life skills From one community to another, we have decided to hold a non-uniform day where we invite the children to wear their favourite sports kit – we are hoping that there might be some Harlequin kits amongst the children’s favourites!
We are asking for a donation of £2 to support this charity and help Jerold raise money for the Harlequins Foundation. If everyone donates £2, we will raise over £800 and this would go a long way to support them. We have set this donation up on ParentPay to enable you to contribute should you want to.
