Year 1 Christingle

Thank you to Year 1 for a beautiful Christingle service last Friday. We learned what a Christingle is and how each element carries a special meaning that helps us share the Christian story:

• The orange represents the world.

• The red ribbon symbolises the love and sacrifice of Christ.

• The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creation.

• The candle represents Jesus as the light of the world, bringing hope to those living in darkness.
